Fixed or Folding Side Tables
A fixed side table stays where you put it and needs no thought. A folding one earns its place if the space has to do more than one job, or if you would rather clear the terrace over winter.
Our folding design has a 41 x 32cm flat top and folds down to roughly 93 x 32 x 5cm, so it lies almost flat and stores in very little space. It stands on two wide legs rather than four corner legs, which gives noticeably better stability on grass or softer ground than a conventional four-leg table. It also folds down in seconds, which sounds like a small thing until you have carried one across a lawn.
It Doubles as a Stool
The folding design is built to be sat on as well as set down on. When there are more people than seats, it takes the overflow, then goes back to holding drinks afterwards. It is also sold as a pair, which is how most people buy it.
What to Pair Them With
