Our Teak

We believe in the importance of our planet so much so that we ensure all of our teak comes from trusted, sustainable sources, from plantations controlled by the Indonesian government.

They are responsible for the felling and replanting of trees and are also ecologically managed.

We only sell the best teak outdoor garden furniture using the finest grade “A” teak, all finished by hand during the manufacturing process.

The best teak comes from the heartwood of the tree meaning it has very few knots and imperfections making it exceptionally durable and hardwearing.

Why is sustainable wood important?

Any wood sourced from sustainably managed forests is considered suitable. It is renewable because the forest is constantly being monitored to ensure damage to the ecosystem and wildlife is prevented, both over the long and short term.

The Teak is sourced from plantations owned and managed by the Indonesian Government. It is covered by the FLEGT scheme which is an agreement between European and Indonesian Governments to ensure sustainability throughout the growing and manufacturing process of timber products.
