Dorchester Teak Garden Dining Chair

Our Dorchester Teak Garden Dining Chair is the armless version of the Dorchester carver, made for larger outdoor dining settings where you want a high-backed chair with a traditional, more substantial feel.

The curved crest rail, gently shaped slatted back and single front crossbar give it a structured look, while the armless design keeps the table layout cleaner. Use Dorchester dining chairs along the sides of a larger teak dining table, with Dorchester carver chairs at either end for a complete arrangement.

Materials and construction

Made from Grade A heartwood teak and professionally kiln-dried for stability outdoors, the Dorchester brings the material quality expected from luxury teak garden furniture to a high-backed armless dining chair.

Traditional mortice and tenon joinery, reinforced with dowels, supports long-term strength. The chair is supplied fully assembled, so it arrives ready to place and use.

Teak care and outdoor living

Teak can be left outside all year round and will weather naturally over time. Teak’s natural oils help it resist weather, mould and mildew.

Cushion note

Teak contains natural oils and tannins. Occasionally, a small amount of oil residue may be visible on the underside of cushions where they sit against the wood. This does not affect cushion quality or longevity.
