Materials and Construction

Made from Grade A heartwood teak, chosen for its natural durability outdoors. Supplied fully assembled and designed for long-term use in the British climate. Teak can be left outside all year round and will weather naturally over time.

The Ripon is precision made for strength and stability, using traditional mortice and tenon joinery, dowels and adhesive. It is very robust and should not be confused with inferior flat-pack folding chairs.

Cushion Note

Teak contains natural oils and tannins. Occasionally, a small amount of oil residue may be visible on the underside of cushions where they sit against the wood. This does not affect the quality or longevity of the cushion.
