Description
The Backless Teak Bench is a practical and versatile piece of teak garden furniture, designed for spaces where a simple seat without arms or a back works best.
It can be used as a standalone bench, paired with a teak dining table, or placed where flexible extra seating is needed. Its clean backless design also makes it useful for outdoor leisure settings and sports clubs, as well as gardens and outdoor dining spaces.

Designed for Dining, Gardens and Outdoor Leisure Spaces
This bench works beautifully alongside Chic Teak rectangular dining tables as an alternative to dining chairs or carvers.
It is also a practical choice for tennis clubs, sports pavilions, outdoor leisure areas and other settings where a strong, slatted teak seat is useful. The slatted top allows rainwater to drain through, while the sturdy frame gives the bench a reassuringly solid feel.

Many customers choose to pair the Backless Teak Bench with a bespoke Backless Bench Cushion, a Backless Teak Stool or a Mayfair Teak Bench.
It also works well with Chic Teak rectangular garden tables where you want flexible bench seating rather than individual chairs.
Cushions and Fixing Kits Available
Bespoke cushions are available in a choice of colours and tailored to fit the bench size selected.
Available cushion colours include Ecru, Graphite, Light Grey and Taupe.
Optional fixing kits are also available if you wish to secure the bench in place, with options for different outdoor surface types.
Materials and Construction
Made from Grade A heartwood teak, chosen for its natural durability outdoors. Supplied fully assembled and designed for long-term use in the British climate. Teak can be left outside all year round and will weather naturally over time.
The Backless Teak Bench is precision made for strength and stability, using traditional mortice and tenon joinery, dowels and adhesive. It has a gently curved slatted seat, central and side crossbars, chamfered legs and plastic ferrules to help protect the feet on hard outdoor surfaces.
It is very robust and should not be confused with inferior flat-pack benches.

Cushion Note
Teak contains natural oils and tannins. Occasionally, a small amount of oil residue may be visible on the underside of cushions where they sit against the wood. This does not affect the quality or longevity of the cushion.
