The classic York Commemorative solid teak bench has a wide horizontal crest rail, curved slatted back and curved seat with side end pieces with generous and comfortable flat, round end arms.

Designed for both public and private use, The York Commemorative bench is of a sturdy, heavyweight construction and makes a perfect commemorative, tribute or memorial bench. It is built with heavy duty arms, strong 7cm squared legs and corner blocks, and is perfectly suited to accommodate hand carving or a brass plaque with a personal message.

Bench Cushions

Bench Fixing

Should you wish to fix your bench down we would recommend using one of our fixing kits which are available as an option. Two styles are offered, one for soft ground (e.g. lawn/shingle) and one for hard ground (e.g. patio slabs/concrete)

Please be aware that due to the nature of the teak and the tannin properties there may be some oil residue which can be seen on the underside of the cushions (next to the wood). This however, will not impact the quality and longevity of the cushion.
