Description
The Gloucester Teak Lounge Chair is a distinctive curved teak lounge chair, also known as a banana chair or peanut chair. With its extra-thick 12cm rolled crest rail, slatted back and broad, flat seat, it has a sculptural feel that still reads as practical, everyday luxury outdoors.
Its proportions make it easy to place as a standalone chair on a patio or terrace, or as part of a more complete seating area. Pair it with the Gloucester Teak Bench and Coffee Table for a relaxed garden set-up, or add the Gloucester Companion Seat when you want a coordinated look across the space.
Supplied fully assembled and made from Grade A heartwood teak, the Gloucester is built for long-term outdoor use, with the natural weight and stability you expect from quality teak furniture. Optional cushions are available for a softer finish.

Materials and construction
Made from Grade A heartwood teak, chosen for its natural resilience outdoors. The Gloucester is precision made using traditional mortice and tenon joinery, with dowels and adhesive throughout for strength and stability. Chamfered legs and discreet protective ferrules help reduce noise and protect surfaces when placed on wood or concrete.

Cushion note
Teak contains natural oils and tannins. Occasionally, a small amount of oil residue may be visible on the underside of cushions where they sit against the wood. This does not affect cushion quality or longevity.
